Yes. Pro and Pro+ plans support multiple properties across multiple cities. Each property gets its own personalized compliance checklist based on its specific location and characteristics.

We source all regulatory data from official city government sources and municipal code repositories. However, STR Comply provides informational guidance only — not legal advice. Regulations change frequently and we always recommend verifying requirements directly with your local government and consulting a licensed attorney for legal decisions.

Our monitoring system checks official city sources regularly for rule changes. When a change is detected and verified, it is approved and pushed to your compliance dashboard. You receive an alert when anything changes in your monitored cities.

You receive an alert in your dashboard and optionally via email. The alert describes what changed and how it may affect your property. You can then regenerate your checklist to reflect the latest rules.

We primarily focus on city-level regulations since STR compliance is largely governed at the local level in the US. Our checklists may reference state-level requirements where relevant to your city's rules.

Yes. During onboarding you specify whether you own or rent the property. STR Comply generates a checklist that accounts for rental arbitrage — including any specific rules that apply to non-owner operators in your city.

The AI Companion is a chat feature inside your dashboard that lets you ask any compliance question about your property. It has full context of your property details, your city's current rules, and recent alerts — so answers are specific to your situation, not generic. Each message uses 3 credits.

Yes. You can export your checklist as a PDF from the checklist modal. The PDF includes all compliance steps, urgency badges, action items, and source citations. PDF export uses 3 credits.

The pill shows your compliance progress based on which checklist items you have marked as completed. "Action needed" means immediate steps are required. "In progress" means you have completed some steps. "Compliant" means all steps are checked off.

We offer three monthly plans: Basic ($49/mo) — 1 property, 1 city, 50 credits/month. Pro ($79/mo) — 2 properties, 2 cities, 75 credits/month, property add-ons available. Pro+ ($129/mo) — 5 properties, 5 cities, 100 credits/month, lowest add-on rates. All plans include all features including the AI companion and PDF export.

Credits are used to access specific features. Generate checklist costs 20 credits, regenerate costs 10, AI chat messages cost 3 each, and PDF export costs 3. Credits are granted monthly with your subscription and reset each billing cycle.

Yes. Active subscribers can purchase credit packs at any time: Starter (100 credits for $9), Standard (300 credits for $19), or Pro Pack (700 credits for $39). Credit packs are one-time purchases and do not expire during your active subscription.

If you cancel your subscription, your existing credits remain usable until the end of your current billing period. After your billing period ends, credits and access to paid features are revoked.

All subscription fees and credit pack purchases are non-refundable. Please review our full Refund Policy at strcomply.ai/refunds before subscribing. The only exception is a verified platform outage exceeding 72 hours, in which case a prorated service credit may be issued.

Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time through your Settings page. Plan changes take effect on your next billing cycle.

Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance through Creem.io, our payment processor. Your subscription automatically renews on the same date each month unless you cancel.

Our monitoring system regularly scrapes official city government websites and municipal code repositories. All extracted data goes through a multi-layer verification process and is reviewed before being applied to your compliance dashboard.

We are continuously expanding our city coverage. Email us at support@strcomply.ai with your city and we will prioritize adding it to our monitoring list.

Our monitoring system detects when a city URL becomes unavailable or returns unexpected content. We flag it for review and work to find the updated source. You are notified if there is a prolonged data gap for your city.

We focus primarily on major city jurisdictions. Some cities have separate county regulations that may apply to unincorporated areas. Our checklists note when county-level rules may be relevant and direct you to verify with the appropriate authority.

Click "Add property" in the left sidebar or dashboard. You will be guided through 15 questions about your property in under 2 minutes. After completing onboarding, your property appears in your dashboard and checklist generation begins.

Yes. Click the red trash icon on any property card in your dashboard. You will be asked to confirm before the property and all associated data is permanently deleted.

Go to Settings → Subscription and click "Cancel subscription." You will retain access until the end of your current billing period. No refund is issued for remaining days.

Yes. All data is stored securely using Supabase with row-level security, meaning your data is only accessible to your account. All connections use TLS encryption. We never share your property data with third parties.

Yes. STR Comply is fully responsive and works on mobile browsers. A dedicated mobile app may be available in the future.
